For more than 30 years, the Friends of Elizabeth II and members have helped to support the Elizabeth II and Roanoke Island Festival Park. Contributions provide support for:
• The support of and upkeep of the representative 16th century sailing ship, the Elizabeth II, the volunteer crew, and the sailing opportunities to other communities
• Performing arts events at Roanoke Island Festival Park
• The preservation and communication of the history and culture of Roanoke Island
